THE PURPOSE OF MY SITE IS TO AWAKE PATRIOT AMERICANS TO OUR CONDITION AND MORE THAN THAT, TO PROVIDE REAL SOLUTIONS.

MY NAME IS RANDY JACKSON, I WAS SAVED THRU THE SHED BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD IN OUR HOME IN ROANOKE, INDIANA FEBURARY 1977.  IT WAS THRU THE OBEDIENCE OF A COUPLE OF SOULWINNERS GOING OUT ON THURSDAY NIGHT THAT CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER.  ONE OF MY GREATEST CONCERNS OVER THE YEARS HAS BEEN THE HERITAGE WE ARE PASSING ON TO OUR CHILDREN.  IF OUR CONTRY CONTINUES DOWN THE SLIDE OF SIN AND APOSTASY SOON OUR CHILDREN WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GO OUT AND KNOCK ON DOORS AND TELL OTHERS ABOUT WHAT JESUS CHRIST DID FOR THEM.  11 CHRONICLES 7:14 TELLS US GODS PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDITION OF OUR COUNTRY, ARE WE GOING TO OBEY?

ONE KEY TO CHANGING OUR COUNTRY IS EDUCATING THOSE INTERESTED IN BIBICAL PRINCIPLES AND HOW THEY APPLY TO US, THEN USING THE BALLOT BOX AS OUR WEAPON.  THE BIBLE HAS THE ANSWERS TO EVERY QUESTION IN LIFE ALL WE NEED TO DO IS OBEY.  TURNING OUR COUNTRY AROUND WILL TAKE OBEDIENCE TO GODS WORD AND ALSO SACRIFICE, WHICH FEW ARE WILLING TO DO TODAY.  IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE FEW PLEASE KEEP THIS MINISTRY IN YOUR PRAYERS AND CONTINUE CHECKING BACK AS I CONTINUE TO EXPAND THIS SITE.  ANY AND ALL INPUT IS WELCOMED AND NEEDED, SINCE NO ONE HAS ALL THE ANSWERS, BUT IF WE WORK TOGETHER WE CAN ACHIEVE VICTORY

GLORIA MAE JACKSON,

 my wife of 34 years,  graduated to heaven  (only because she repented of her sins and took JESUS CHRIST as her LORD and SAVIOR) on Monday July 7, 2008 at 2:15p.m. after a 3 year battle with Stage 4 Colon canser.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Friday at Truth Missionary Baptist Church, 3823 Old U.S. 1, Moncure, with Pastor Ronald Humphries officiating. Internment service were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.

She was born on May 31, 1954, in Vincennes, Ind., to Max A. and Lela Cook Strate.

She was a Homemaker, Wife, Teacher, Mother, Daughter, Friend, and most of all my Helpmeet.  Mrs. Jackson was a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church in Moncure. She enjoyed doing crafts, reading, cooking, knitting, hummingbirds and most of all her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Randy Jackson of Sanford; three sons, Jeremy Jackson and wife, Jennifer, of Norfolk, Va., Patrick Jackson and wife, Cherith, of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Samuel Jackson and wife, Brittany, of Sanford; and two daughters, Mary Beth Howell and husband, Randy, of Sanford and Hannah Martin and husband, Ben, of Sanford. She is also survived by her mother, Lela Mae Cook Strate; three brothers, Ben Strate, Albert Strate and Gary Strate all of Vincennes; and 12 grandchildren.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Miller-Boles Funeral Home, 1150 Firetower Road.

On this day in 1884, President Chester Arthur issues a proclamation that grants him and the federal government the power to quarantine persons entering the United States through its ports of entry to avoid the spread of “pestilence.” Although the proclamation used the word pestilence several times, it did not mention the specific name of the dreaded disease from which Arthur was trying to protect the nation: tuberculosis.

Although individual states usually maintained their own quarantine laws, Arthur saw the need to broaden the federal government’s powers to intervene in a national health crisis. Arthur served as president during an economic depression, when the nation was already in a state of anxiety and fearful of a resurgence in immigration from Europe and Asia, where tuberculosis was epidemic. He advised cities along the coasts to “resist the power of the disease and to mitigate its severity.” Without elaborating, Arthur was authorizing people to report to the federal government persons suspected of carrying highly contagious diseases.

Since the country’s inception, several presidents have had to impose quarantine regulations. George Washington signed the first quarantine act in 1799 at a time when variations of the plague and smallpox still posed deadly threats. Foreign ships deemed in “insanitary [sic] conditions” could be seized by federal officers and the passengers placed in quarantine at hospitals.

In 1918, 657,000 Americans were killed when a deadly worldwide pandemic called the “Spanish Flu” swept through the nation. Some historical accounts claim that President Woodrow Wilson contracted this flu while in Paris for the signing of the Treaty of Versailles in 1919, although it is uncertain which strain of flu virus he had.

During his first term, President George W. Bush added Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), which originated in China and threatened to spread like wildfire, to the list of diseases for which government quarantine procedures could be implemented. Currently, diseases caused by biological weapons, such as anthrax, or the deadly influenza virus carried by poultry and other birds pose an additional danger to the United States.
