WE NOW HAVE AN OBAMANATION

The following are quotes from President Obama

OBAMA REJECTS BIBLICAL DOCTRINE OF HELL (Friday Church News Notes,
November 21, 2008, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143)
- In a 2004 interview with Cathleen Falsani of the Chicago Sun Times,
Barack Obama candidly expressed his religious views. He said that he
doesn’t read the Bible or pray regularly. He is suspicious of dogma
and certainty and thinks that “religion at its best comes with a big
dose of doubt” (“Obama’s Fascinating Interview with Cathleen Falsani,”
BeliefNet, Nov. 11, 2008). He believes that Jesus is a wonderful
teacher, that sin is “being out of alignment with my values,” and that
heaven might be “now or in the hereafter.” He doesn’t “presume to have
knowledge of what happens after I die.” Though he claims to reject
religious dogmatism, he dogmatically rejects the doctrine of hell. He
rejects “the belief that people that haven’t embraced Jesus Christ as
their personal savior are going to hell.” He says, “I find it hard to
believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell. I
can’t imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India
who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all
eternity. That’s just not part of my religious makeup.” Obama exalts
the Hindu religious leader Gandhi as “a great example of a profoundly
spiritual man” and says that FoxNews and talk radio are “dangerous
sometimes.” Barack Obama is America’s first New Age president. This is
why he got Oprah Winfrey’s support and why she was on a New Age high
during his acceptance speech. He will doubtless further empower every
anti-Christian movement, including homosexuality, environmentalism,
feminism, abortionism, globalism, socialism, and Islam. His brand of
“tolerance” embraces practically everyone but the Bible believer, and
his dislike of dogmatism doesn’t extend to the dogmatism of rejecting
the Bible’s teaching. (For documentation of the New Age infiltration
of politics, see the book The New Age Tower of Babel, which is
available from Way of Life Literature.)

You know, my faith is one that admits some doubt.
Barack Obama

We worship an awesome God in the Blue States, and we don't like federal agents poking around our libraries in the Red States. We coach Little League in the Blue States and have gay friends in the Red States.
Barack Obama

It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
Barack Obama

People of Berlin - people of the world - this is our moment. This is our time.
Barack Obama

I’m not denouncing the church, and I’m not interested in people who want me to denounce the church. It’s not a church worthy of denouncing.
Barack Obama
On resigning membership of Trinity United Church of Chjrist, May 31, 2008.

I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother — a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.
Barack Obama
Regarding inflammatory racial remarks of his Pastor, Rev. Jeremiah White, speech on race, March 18, 2008.

To the extent that we've got a fiscal crisis right now, part of it is prompted by a bullheaded insistence on the part of the president, for example, that we should extend all of his tax cuts, make all of them permanent.
Barack Obama

It's not just enough to change the players. We've gotta change the game.
Barack Obama

I've got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby.
Barack Obama

We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK. That's not leadership. That's not going to happen.
Barack Obama

Over the last 15 months, weÕve traveled to every corner of the United States. IÕve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.
Barack Obama

We're not going to baby sit a civil war.
Barack Obama

I’ve known Reverend Wright for almost twenty years. The person I saw yesterday was not the person that I met twenty years ago. His comments were not only divisive and destructive, but I believe that they end up giving comfort to those who prey on hate and I believe that they do not portray accurately the perspective of the black church. They certainly don’t portray accurately my values and beliefs and if Reverend Wright thinks that's political posturing, as he put it, then he doesn't know me very well and based on his remarks yesterday, well I may not know him as well as I thought either.
Barack Obama
At press conference following Reverend Jeremiah Wright's speech at Press Club event, April 29, 2008.

I opposed the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996. It should be repealed and I will vote for its repeal on the Senate floor. I will also oppose any proposal to amend the U.S. Constitution to ban gays and lesbians from marrying.
Barack Obama

This budget tells our veterans that if they want increased funding for the VA they'll have to pay for it themselves.
Barack Obama

Race is still a powerful force in this country. Any African American candidate, or any Latino candidate, or Asian candidate or woman candidate confronts a higher threshold in establishing himself to the voters
Barack Obama

“I have not said that I was a supporter of gay marriage, but I am a strong supporter of civil unions, and I would, as president, make absolutely certain that all federal laws pertaining to married couples — benefits pertaining to married couples are conferred to people who — same sex couples who have civil unions as well.”

 Barack Obama
